Long Character Biography
Obito Uchiha began as a hopeful, kindhearted shinobi who admired his comrades and dreamed of protecting friends through strength. Belonging to the Uchiha clan, he was trained under Kakashi and served with Rin and others. A battlefield catastrophe-apparently his death-sent his life down a different path: rescued by Madara and manipulated by grief, Obito adopted a philosophy that pain justified radical change. He assumed the Tobi identity and orchestrated an elaborate plan to use the moon's reflection to cast a genjutsu on all humanity, creating a dream world free from suffering.
Obito's turn is driven by compassion turned bitter: unable to accept the world's cruelties, he embraced a godlike solution that required enormous cruelty. As Tobi he moved behind the scenes, reshaping the Akatsuki's goals, engineering wars, and manipulating numerous actors. Beneath the mask, Obito remained conflicted; moments of regret and the lingering love for his friends complicate his villainy.
